An online degree in accounting offers students the opportunity to maximize the flexibility and convenience of their educational program. Depending on your degree level, course work will include general or advanced studies of financial accounting and management, cost accounting and management, auditing, taxation, economics and information systems. Classes in business law, ethics and technology may also be part of a program’s curriculum.
After earning an online degree in accounting, students will be prepared to create, analyze and verify financial documents in order to provide information to clients.
