Health Services Management - Master's (Online)

The Master of Science in Health Services Management provides a comprehensive course of graduate study to prepare health service providers and managers for the challenges of modern health care. The program recognizes the value of applied research in solving the problems of today's health systems, and encourages the acquisition of sustainable research methods and skills.

The program curriculum is intended to provide students with an advanced understanding of contemporary business practices, modern health care systems and organization, policy development and planning techniques, management and leadership strategies, health behaviors, financial management and analytical research methods. The program provides students with the knowledge and skills to fully utilize proven health care management methods, while developing new theories and applications relevant to modern health care management.

MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (Online)

The Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology is designed to apply the knowledge of industrial organizational psychology to issues involving individuals and groups in organizational and work settings. This program prepares students for careers in areas such as compensation, training, data analysis, consultation, statistical decision making, organizational development, leadership, and human resource management positions. The curriculum is competency-based, focusing on the outcomes of training and on the knowledge, skills, and behavior necessary to function as a master's level professional in Industrial Organizational Psychology. This is an interdisciplinary program that combines the expertise of the faculty in the Colleges of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences and Business.

Master of Science in Human Resources (Online)

The Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) degree program is designed to prepare human resource professionals, as well as those seeking to enter the human resource profession. Students will have the opportunity to effectively address the breadth of human resources needs of an organization: recruitment, selection, and development; compensation and benefits; employee relations; and the long-run strategic human resource needs of an organization. Particular attention is the ethical management of people in our diverse world.

Program Outcomes

  • Evaluate practices from any Human Resources sub-discipline, including staffing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, and employee and organizational development, in terms of human and financial impact on the organization or work group and in consideration of local, national, or global environments.
  • Apply ethical principles, generally accepted business practices, and best-practice tools in making decisions about Human Resources policies, practices, or initiatives.

Master of Science in Management (Online)

The Master of Science (MS) program in management is designed to meet the operations and leadership needs of managers and supervisors in public, private and not-for-profit industries.
