Newark Campus

The completely renovated Newark campus of Berkeley College facility will offer a secure and comfortable learning environment. State-of-the-art classrooms, labs, library, student lounge and administrative offices will be located in the building. High speed wireless Internet access via Berkeley's own wi-fi network, computers, printers, data video projectors and scanners will be available to students, faculty and staff.

AAS in Business Administration - Accounting

The accounting major integrates a broad background in business administration with a thorough understanding of accounting concepts and theory and hands-on training in computerized accounting. The program prepares students for positions in private, public, not-for-profit and governmental agencies.

AAS in Business Administration - Information Systems Management

The information systems management major is designed to develop an understanding of how successful businesses have streamlined their systems and reorganized their staffs so that vast amounts of information are exchanged more efficiently than ever. The program provides a broad background in business administration, combining computer technology with strong managerial techniques and interpersonal skills. Students learn to communicate electronically and to use the Internet, online data services, spreadsheets, graphics, database and project management software to solve business problems.

AAS in Business Administration - Management

Combining a solid foundation in the human and organizational aspects of management with a broad background in business administration, the management major provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to guide and motivate group efforts toward achieving the organization's desired goals and to make managerial decisions.

AAS in Business Administration - Marketing Communications

In today's highly competitive global marketplace, world-class organizations are spending more and more on winning the hearts and minds of consumers via Marketing Communications tools such as advertising, public relations, sales promotions, and professional selling. The Marketing Communications program at Berkeley College is ideal for students who are interested in generating creative solutions to marketing problems through integrated communications.

AAS in Financial Services

The Associate of Applied Science in Financial Services is designed to provide an overview of financial institutions, the products and services they offer, and their importance to the economy. The curriculum, built on a solid business and technology core, emphasizes financial planning and exchange, and considers investment securities management.

Associate's - International Business

Both programs explore the dynamics of multinational and multicultural business environments and prepare students to manage successfully in the large, multinational markets that are emerging in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Pacific Rim and elsewhere.

The Associate of Science degree program requires a foreign language. If you wish to develop proficiency in either Spanish or French--two important international business languages--you should choose the AS degree.

If you prefer to focus more intensively on business studies, you should choose the Associate of Applied Science degree program, which has no foreign language requirement. Our AAS program integrates a solid foundation in international trade, marketing and management; knowledge of global business practices; an understanding of cultural and environmental contexts of international business; and strong technological skills.

Berkeley College also offers students the opportunity to broaden their experience and study overseas while earning academic credits.

Bachelor of Science in Marketing Communications

BS in Business Administration

BS in Financial Services

The ever-increasing complexity of today's financial world renders yesterday's answers obsolete. This program meets the need for trained professionals to plan, assess and evaluate a client's financial future through the development of a comprehensive financial plan. Graduates are qualified to join the investment community and secure positions within investment firms and other financial services organizations. The program also prepares students for the Certified Financial Planning Examination offered by the CFP Board of Standards, Inc.
