Convenient Scheduling with One Course a Month

At Brown Mackie College, you don’t need to wait for a traditional “Fall Start.” Because our students aren’t always living “traditional” lives we offer new starts each month with day or evening classes that fit your schedule. Each class lasts one month. There’s no need to divide your time and energy between coursework and exams for multiple courses. We keep the focus on one course, one subject at a time to help you succeed.

Brown Mackie College – Tucson is conveniently located in East Tucson, an area of the city experiencing urban and suburban development. East Tucson is also home to a national park, the city's ""Restaurant Row,"" and several corporations.

Tucson is a fast-growing and progressive metropolitan area with an incredibly rich cultural heritage. The region today combines the cultures of the United States and Mexico with continued influence from past settlement by Native Americans, Spanish explorers, and Anglo frontiersmen. Associate's - Accounting

The Associate of Science degree program in Accounting includes courses that cover basic accounting and general education courses, business-related courses and training in accounting-specific software.

Associate's - Business Management

The Business Management program is designed to prepare graduates for entry-level employment and the business field. Students have an opportunity to receive a solid foundation in management principles and business technology, computer operations, and general education.

Through a successful completion of the program, students will have learned to: Manage a small business; manage a payroll; apply marketing and advertising principles; produce presentation materials in PowerPoint; generate spreadsheets; utilize human resource practices; communicate effectively, orally and in writing; prepare written reports; use the Internet to communicate with clients and co-workers. Entry-level employment opportunities may exist in the areas of Office Management. Sales, Administrative Assistant, Human Resources, Assistant Account Representative, Customer Service Representative, and Entrepreneur/Self-Employment.

Associate's - Health Care Administration

The associate's degree in health care administration prepares students to understand the essential components of managerial and organizational support in the health care industry. Students will learn how various health care systems operate and the multiple aspects of the field. At the same time, they will receive hands-on training in the administrative facets of health care services for the general public.

Graduates of this program will be prepared for entry-level positions in:

  • Public health settings
  • Other health care related organizations

Bachelor's - Accounting

The objectives of this program are to prepare a student to effectively function in an accounting position and be effective in the management and control of an organization. The blending of general education and technical skills prepares a student to adapt to and become a valuable asset to an organization in the required activities of today's frequent and rapidly changing society. This program also serves as a foundation for students who wish to continue beyond a bachelor's degree and pursue passing the CPA exam.

Bachelor's - Business Administration

The programs that result in a business degree combine business management courses with specific courses geared at preparing students for the fast-paced and multifaceted world of business. Our Bachelor of Science degree program is aimed at preparing graduates for a potential career as a manager.

Bachelor's - Health Care Management

The Bachelor's in Health Care Management is designed to accommodate the needs and interests of students from a variety of backgrounds. Courses provide a solid foundation for varied health care careers. The program also incorporates an externship that offers students real-world experience within health care facilities that may include hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care facilities, physician practices, and pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies.
