D'Youville College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts and professional college located in residential Buffalo, New York, delivering skills, confidence, leadership and a global view in a caring environment. Founded in 1908 by the Grey Nuns, D'Youville College has long been considered a leader among colleges for its progressive and comprehensive programs. With a student population of approximately 3000, D'Youville offers its students the diversity and resources of a much larger college and the attention and accessibility that is usually attributed to a small college. Our campus offers students comprehensive facilities, modern computer labs and state-of-the-art medical labs. Our teaching faculty are the core of what makes D'Youville College a special place.

Business Department

The Business program provides a well-rounded business education to prepare students for future job placement. The faculty have years of business experience outside the classroom so the courses go beyond academic theories and push students to acquire knowledge in a way that is useful in practical business settings. The faculty to student ratio in our program is low and full time faculty members teach majority of the courses. The professors will know you by name and will be available for assistance as you pursue your degree.

Advance BS - Management

The management program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become competent and responsible managers. The curriculum prepares the student by emphasizing a firm base of liberal arts and a common body of knowledge about management responsibilities. Students graduate from the program having developed a coherent and dynamic personal philosophy about managing, an understanding of the ever changing technological world, and a strong sense of social responsibility.Along with the traditional BS in management, D'Youville College also offers the management degree for working adults with some college credits. The ADVANCE program, an accelerated degree completion program can be completed in as little as 18 months and is taught in a cohort modular format. Students complete one course at a time every five weeks by attending classes one night per week.

BS - Accounting

The BS in accounting prepares the student to work in the fields of public accounting, private corporate accounting, financial accounting, or governmental or institutional accounting. This program is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. We offer internships with a number of high-profile companies for hands-on experience. Graduates from our four year program enjoy a high career placement rate as per our alumni survey.

BS - Management

Five-Year BS/MS - Accounting & International Business

This five year combined bachelor's and master's degree in accounting and international business is geared toward meeting the new curricular requirements of 150 college credit hours to qualify for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination. This new program will allow students to pursue careers in accounting and finance-related areas of international business. Our program is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. Classes are kept small to ensure individualized attention. We offer internships in high-profile companies for hands-on experience. The program is direct entry which eliminates the need to reapply to the master's degree as long as you maintain an overall 3.0 GPA average. In Addition the program is entirely undergraduate tuition even at the maser's level.

Five-Year BS/MS - International Business

D'Youville's five-year dual degree in international business combines specialized training in key aspects of the global work-place with a strong background in foreign language, research, communication, ethics and interpersonal skills. With an emerging global economy touching every segment of society, companies can no longer maintain a business model that places managers with international business skills in one division of the overall organizational structure. Daily management duties now require that you use business skills with customers and consumers from all over the world. This includes utilizing multinational skills in economics, finance, sales, market research, communications and accounting.

The 39 credit Master of Science degree program in International Business, which is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), combines specialized training in international business with a strong foundation in a foreign language, research, communication, ethics, and interpersonal skills. Students will be able to combine theoretical and practical knowledge through fieldwork experiences. Options include business internship opportunities with U.S. offices of multinational corporations as well as opportunities to combine work and study abroad.
