Entrepreneurship

As our name would suggest, the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship is uniquely suited to prepare you to expand your entrepreneurial interests. Our M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship degree program will prepare you to create feasibility studies and business plans, participate as a team member in consulting assignments, build your portfolio, evaluate and purchase existing businesses, and start your own business.

Finance

If your career goals include a position in a financial arena of general businesses, an investment banking firm, a broker dealer firm, a management consulting firms, or a department of a commercial bank or some other domestic/international financial institutions, you will want to investigate our M.B.A. in Finance.

Full-Time MBA

Program Features:

• Both the MBA core courses and the Management courses are offered during the day (Monday/Wednesday, or Tuesday/Thursday) on NSU's main campus. Students may choose to enroll in any of the available concentrations, but Management is the only concentration offered during the day.
• Designed for students pursuing their graduate education directly after the completion of their undergraduate degree, for those with limited work/managerial experience, and for professionals who are retraining for a career change.
• Program can be completed in only 12 months.
• Internships are an integral part of the full-time MBA in Management program, providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience and establish important contacts in the business community.
• Program includes three career development courses (not for credit, but required for graduation)
• Program begins four times annually with starts in October, January, April, and July.

Global Management

The MBA in Global Management program offers exciting, unique and concentrated coverage of highly relevant international topics in a curriculum designed for global managers. Working professionals can complete the program in 18 months.

Program Features:

• Part-Time Program that can be completed in as little as 18 months.

Human Resource Management

The MBA in Human Resource Management program includes eight core business administration courses, and four specialized courses in the area of human resource management. The core courses will provide you with a foundational knowledge of general business practices and methods. The concentration courses in human resource management present new perspectives on individual and group behavior, and provide insight into approaches for better management and motivation of employees. The program provides you with an understanding of contemporary management issues from organizational restructuring; implementing new procedures, solving conflicts, complying with affirmative action requirements, to training personnel.

Leadership

The MBA in Leadership program includes eight core business administration courses, and four specialized courses in the area of leadership. The core courses will provide you with a foundational knowledge of general business practices and methods. The concentration courses in leadership will help you develop confidence and expertise in influencing others, embracing and guiding change, developing teams, and directing projects within your organization. Graduates exit the leadership program as champions of change who, with passion and enthusiasm, inspire others to reach their full potential.

M.B.A. in Management

Management

Master of Accounting

Prepares both professionals and entry-level students interested in pursuing a career in the field of accounting, and prepares them to sit for the CPA examination. The program typically involves six quarters of study with classes meeting on alternative weekends. Also available online (eMACC).

Master of International Business Administration

Offers exciting, unique and concentrated coverage of highly relevant international topics in a curriculum designed for global managers and entrepreneurs. Classes are offered in an executive alternate weekend format, enabling students to complete the degree in only 18 months. Also available online (eMIBA).

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Emphasizing the maximization of value for public and private organizations over time, this program provides solutions to issues facing contemporary real-world organizations. Classes are offered Friday evening and Saturday on alternating weekends, as well as through our online format (eMPA).

Master of Science in Human Resource Management

Gives you insight into group dynamics and approaches for better management and motivation of employees. The program typically involves six quarters of study with classes meeting on alternate weekends. Also available online (eMS/HRM).

Master of Science in Leadership

Teaching theoretical as well as practical application skills, the program focuses on the role of management and leadership functions of an organization in a growing international arena. Students will build leadership knowledge and competencies influenced by a management philosophy called "value-driven management." Upon completion of the program, graduates will be certified instructors in Situational Leadership. Faculty in the Situational Leadership course are certified situational leadership instructors, as stipulated by the creator of Situational Leadership and founder of the Center for Leadership Studies, Dr. Paul Hersey. This program is the only one in the United States to offer such a benefit.

Sales Management
