The Business Management and Accounting program prepares students for a variety of responsible managerial positions. Due to the diversity of the program courses, the student will build a strong foundation in accounting, marketing, insurance, finance, electronic commerce and real estate. Objectives of the program are to provide the student with an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts and how these concepts relate to business and social systems, the recognition of ethical responsibilities and accountability, the development of planning, decision-making, and other management functions, the capacity to implement and adapt to change, and development of analytic thinking and leadership style.
In partnership with the National Property Management Association (NPMA), the Associate of Applied Science in Business Management and Accounting (emphasis in property management) allows you to complete your degree while you prepare for NPMA certification. Due to the diversity of the program courses, the student will build a strong foundation in accounting, marketing, insurance, finance, electronic commerce and real estate. Objectives of the program are to provide the student with an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts and how these concepts relate to business and social systems, the recognition of ethical responsibilities and accountability, the development of planning, decision-making, and other management functions, the capacity to implement and adapt to change, and development of analytic thinking and leadership style.

Graduates are employed in entry-level positions as bookkeepers, clerical assistants, and personal property professionals.
The Bachelor's degree in Accounting is designed to prepare the graduate for entry into positions with public accounting firms and similarly challenging positions with private, government, and nonprofit organizations. The objectives of the major are to provide the graduate with an understanding of business and financial concepts and how they relate to professional accounting — including the principles of federal taxation, auditing, and accounting for small businesses and corporations.
The Bachelor`s degree in Accounting with Forensic Accounting emphasis is designed to prepare the graduate for entry into positions with public accounting firms and similarly challenging positions with private, government, and nonprofit organizations, including work with legal counsel and private investigators. The emphasis area allows forensic accountants to integrate the areas or accounting, auditing, and investigation and provide an accounting analysis that can be used for judicial debate and resolution. The objectives of the program are to prepare graduates to conduct an analysis, interpretation and summary of an organization’s present financial situation in an understandable and adequately supported manner.
A Business Administration degree prepares graduates for a variety of responsible managerial positions in both domestic and international firms. The objectives of the program are to provide a solid foundation in Accounting, Sales and Marketing, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, and Banking and Finance. The program provides the graduate with an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts and how they relate to the domestic and global economy.
The Business Administration program prepares graduates for a variety of responsible managerial positions in both domestic and international firms. The objectives of the program are to provide a foundation in accounting, sales and marketing, operations management, human resource management and banking and finance and to provide the graduate with an integrated understanding of business and economic concepts and how they relate to the global economy. Business Administration graduates are employed in entry-level to mid-level positions as an office manager, account manager, small business developer, human resource assistant, or sales manager.
Students earning an emphasis in Human Resources will be prepared to apply business principles to the strategic function of human resources management. Topics for discussion include sourcing, recruiting, hiring, retention, talent mapping, training and developing employees, benefits and compensation policies, employment law, organizational development, and conflict resolution strategies. Possible areas of employment include entry-level positions such as human resource generalist, specialist positions in benefits, positions in staffing and recruiting, and human capital development and training.

Topics of discussion will include emerging technologies, utilizing technologies for communication with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging the technology for sales and marketing purposes, and driving organizational and cultural change.
The Business Administration program prepares graduates for a variety of responsible managerial positions in both domestic and international firms. Property Managers are an integral component to organizational stability. Because of efficient asset management understanding, property managers can lead to considerable cost savings by monitoring property life cycle; acquisition, utilization and disposition. Because of liability associated with operations and asset finance reporting, the legislative law (Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002) requires companies to implement controls to protect investors from corporate fraud schemes. This degree has been created for that specific reason; to educate property managers on not only sound accounting practices, but to ensure that ethical controls are understood and implemented.
The Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration with Technology emphasis is designed to prepare the graduate to apply technology skills to achieve business goals. The emphasis is placed on preparing graduates to become certified in computer applications, networking, maintenance, and security. The emphasis prepares the graduate for entry into positions that include computer service technician, application specialist, and administrative and technical support representative.
The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration is designed to provide healthcare practitioners and others with the skills and competencies to function as supervisors and managers in healthcare settings, or in a business environment requiring management skills. This program is designed to help the professional meet increasing responsibilities. The curriculum provides a working foundation in management and interpersonal skills, while at the same time introducing the student to the healthcare delivery system and to business challenges with varied issues. Graduates are not only better prepared to assume increased management responsibilities, but to do so with a better understanding of the complex system in which they work.
