The mission of the AAS degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management is to provide students with a foundation in hotel and event management skills to prepare them for career advancement. Students who successfully complete specific courses in this program receive certificates from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) and may qualify to become a Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS).
The AAS degree in Business Administration prepares students in the fundamentals, principles, techniques and skills essential to the theory and effective practice of business.
The AAS degree program includes core BUS requirements, elective requirements and general education requirements. The total requirement is 90 quarter-credits and normally takes 60 weeks to complete.
The objective of Stratford University’s Bachelor’s of Arts in Culinary Management (BA) degree is to prepare students for the culinary management field by building on a core of knowledge gained through the associate’s degree (AAS) programs in Advanced Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry Arts or equivalent coursework. Students will develop the management skills necessary to successfully operate a culinary-focused business venture. Students who successfully complete specific courses in this program may receive certificates from the American Culinary Federation (ACF), the National Restaurant Association (NRA), or the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA).
Stratford’s Bachelor’s of Arts (BA) in Culinary Management degree program is a 140-week, 180-quarter credit program for adult learners who have earned a high school diploma or an equivalent credential. In addition to the academic components of the program, Stratford’s Culinary Management BA will focus on contemporary issues in the culinary field, such as the impact of technology on operational management, changes in population demographics, socio-economic influences, and evolving nutritional, sustainability, and sanitation concerns. Additional topics to be covered will include wine production and service, menu creation, leadership in a culturally diverse workplace, as well as all relevant legal and human resource related issues.

The Health Care Administration Program provides an opportunity for students who are interested in preparing for rewarding and challenging careers by providing competency-based educational programs that meet the changing needs of employers of an emerging high demand health care industry. The graduates are expected to effectively function as entry level administrators/managers in response to health care reforms, trends, issues and problem solutions that affect health and welfare of the people.
The Enterprise Business Management Master's program will enable the student to plan and deploy an information infrastructure to help their company achieve a sustained competitive advantage. The program will include best practices and case studies in fundamental business procedures, including finance, accounting, marketing, sales, human resource management and law. It will provide the student with the skills needed to manage Internet-enabled enterprises.
Students will have access to the Stratford University Enterprise Center and participate in the development and management of real businesses or pursue academic research. Graduates will be prepared for positions technical and management positions, such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operational Officer (COO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of an enterprise.
The International Master of Business Administration at Stratford University aims to help managers gain a distinct advantage in their profession, whether they are in industrial, financial, global, government or non-profit institutions. To achieve this goal, Stratford University offers a broad-based program curriculum which hopes to strike a balance between technical training and practical problem-solving that is founded on current management theories and approaches. It is complemented by case analyses, company/industry studies, business games and other experiential learning methods.
A conscious effort has been made to develop a curriculum responsive to the unique features of global environments. IMBA students engage in an intensive study in current management concepts and techniques through a core curriculum covering the functional areas in business as well analytical decision making. The first year program is focused on foundation courses that will offer the student the ability to discover the area of concentration they want to explore for their second year. These courses also give the student a diverse and broad understanding of all facets of business administration. The second year of study allows the student to choose an area of concentration from finance, information technology, management and leadership, and business and public policy. This allows the ability to hone one's skills in a particular area and be able to research and excel in that specific field of interest.
