Both programs explore the dynamics of multinational and
multicultural business environments and prepare students to
manage successfully in the large, multinational markets that are
emerging in North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Pacific
Rim and elsewhere.
The Associate of Science degree program requires a foreign
language. If you wish to develop proficiency in either Spanish or
French--two important international business languages--you
should choose the AS degree.
If you prefer to focus more intensively on business studies, you
should choose the Associate of Applied Science degree
program, which has no foreign language requirement. Our AAS
program integrates a solid foundation in international trade,
marketing and management; knowledge of global business practices;
an understanding of cultural and environmental contexts of
international business; and strong technological skills.
