Diploma - Bookkeeping and Payroll Accounting

The Diploma in Bookkeeping and Payroll Accounting provides students with an introductory understanding of general and payroll accounting practices and the skills needed to set-up and maintain basic accounting and payroll records in typical business settings.

Upon completion of this program students should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

  • Read and understand financial statements and accounts used in business decision making.
  • Maintain basic manual and computerized accounting records.
  • Create and maintain computerized spreadsheets to assist business managers in decision making.
  • Create and maintain payroll records in common business settings.
