Accounting is for people who like numbers -- and it's a lot more than recording debits and credits. In this program, you'll learn how to gather and analyze data in clear, concise terms, in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices and standards. You'll learn the most current accounting applications used in most offices today. You'll also focus on budgets, financial plans and human resources. Maybe you have an entrepreneurial streak, and you're the type who can envision owning and operating your own business. Or maybe you're a strong manager with an eye toward efficient operation and the best use of available resources for a business.

If either of these are the case, then you'll be a good fit for our business administration program. You'll learn the fundamentals of how a good business operates and how to run it -- developing a good idea, generating a workable plan and considering important factors like market, real estate, capital and day-to-day operations. You'll also develop a business plan to present to potential lenders.

Once you graduate, you'll find opportunities in this field as a manager, assistant manager, partner or as the owner of your own business.
