Columbia Campus

South University - Columbia is located in Columbia, SC, the state capital and largest city in South Carolina. Columbia is home to the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden, numerous cultural offerings and a rich history along the Congaree River. The South University - Columbia campus is situated in the Carolina Research Park, off Interstate 77 in northeast Columbia, one of the fastest growing sections of the city.

Campus facilities comprise 40,000 square feet of space that includes wireless technology, classrooms, a medical lab for students pursuing health care degrees, three computer labs and video conferencing capabilities.

Associate of Science in Business Administration

The Associate of Science in Business Administration degree program offers students exposure to the responsibilities and requirements of managing a business. Students gain an understanding of management concepts that will maximize opportunities for promotion in a management career. Students also are exposed to the principles of:

Built on a strong foundation of general studies in mathematics, science, language arts and the social sciences, the program provides a practical working background that enables graduates to function in management positions.

Students in this 2-year program are prepared for entry-level positions in the business field. This program also provides a strong academic foundation for transfer into the Bachelor of Business Administration program.

Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Information technology (IT) describes applications of computing and communications technology within the confines of an enterprise. The term includes hardware such as computers, networking equipment, telecommunication equipment and multimedia, as well as software programs that control and function on such equipment. Consequently, higher education programs in information technology aim to prepare professionals specializing in various aspects of the information technology fields.

Technology programs offer students access to a relevant, application-oriented and distinctive IT education program focused in:

Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration degree program at South University - Columbia prepares students to enter a variety of entry-level management positions in business, education, health care, government or manufacturing.

They also will build a solid educational foundation by taking general studies that include mathematics, physical sciences, language arts and the social sciences. Master of Business Administration

South University's Master of Business Administration program is designed to help working professionals build management and leadership skills by employing an integrated, holistic approach. The program is inspired by the idea that in today's business climate, it's not enough merely to analyze problems and identify solutions.
