Specialized Associate Degree in Accounting

The Specialized Associate degree in Accounting prepares students for entry-level positions in the accounting field. The program includes computerized accounting, basic accounting principles and advanced accounting applications. The courses prepare students for performing financial, cost, and managerial accounting tasks. Students will be prepared to create, analyze and interpret financial data and statements in order to make sound business and accounting decisions. To provide students with a complete overview of business accounting, software applications and business law courses are taught.

Specialized Associate degree in Business Administration

The Specialized Associate degree in Business Administration provides an extensive combination of business courses, thoroughly covering management and marketing. Management training includes courses in job recruiting, planning, training employees, evaluating performance and creating a productive work environment. Students examine contemporary marketing environments to develop skills in market planning, forecasting, decision making, product development and pricing and distribution channels.

With technology changing the business world, students who complete this degree program will have a solid foundation in computer software applications and information processing. Good oral and written skills are also practiced. To provide students with a complete background, additional course requirements include: Advertising, Applied Business Law and Creative Selling.
