Accounting and Computer Applications
The objective of this program is to give the student "hands on"
learning in the key areas of financial and management
accounting, as well as in the implementation and operation of a
computerized accounting system. The practical, rather than the
theoretical, is stressed. The successful graduate will have the
necessary skills to keep a set of books, both manually and on a
computerized system. The student will also be trained to
implement internal controls and management accounting systems,
such as budgeting, cash flows, and break-even analysis, for use
in both small and large businesses. The successful graduate
will be equipped for a career in accounting.
Accounting and Payroll Administrator
The Accounting and Payroll Administrator program is designed to
provide you with the fundamentals of practical accounting and
payroll tools. Through vital hands-on learning, you will
develop accurate and reliable accounting and payroll procedures
through the use of manual and computerized accounting
applications. You will gain the ability to perform general
accounting duties, using knowledge and skills to gather,

Business Administration
The Business Administration program is designed to provide you

learn about the relevant aspects of management and
administration that will enable you to become an effective

business techniques and practices. It emphasizes the
development of critical-thinking, analytical and communication

Computer Business Applications Specialist
The focus of this program is to familiarize the student with
the skills necessary to enter the work force as a trained user
of the most popular computer software applications. The
objective is for the student to develop practical skills in
software applications for major office functions. Students will
be provided with "hands-on" learning on a computer. In
addition, the student will be taught the terms, concepts, and
methods to fully utilize each application.
Hotel and Services Supervisor
The hospitality industry is often referred to as "the people
business" and is one of the fastest growing areas of employment
in North America. Canada is developing a higher profile
internationally - more people are travelling here for business
as well as pleasure. The skills and knowledge acquired in this
program prepare the student for entry-level positions in the
hospitality industry.
Travel and Tourism
The Travel and Tourism program provides you with a background
in business applications, as well as policies and procedures
related to the field. Through practical computer education and
theoretical sales concepts, you will gain the technical and
selling abilities to succeed as a travel specialist. You will
become proficient with Apollo and SABRE, the two main computer
reservation systems used in Canadian travel agencies. Worldwide
destinations are also studied throughout the courses in this
comprehensive program.
