Experienced Faculty
The College is proud of its carefully selected staff and
faculty members who bring varied educational and work
experiences from their fields. Many are involved on a
day-to-day basis in their profession and contribute knowledge
and skills that reflect the current trends and requirements of
their respective fields.

Historic Facilities
Bauder is now located in what used to be the Southern Railway
engine repair yard. These historic buildings (listed on the
National Register of Historic Sites) have been completely
renovated for the college's use while preserving much of the
flavor and character of the historic location. In addition to a
wealth of up-to-date facilities, there are several special
purpose PC and Macintosh laboratories, a specialized classroom
for the Medical Assistant program, general classroom space,
sewing labs, a magnificent new library and a state-of-the-art
Visual Image Center for multi-media shows and presentations.
Financial Aid
Prior to enrolling at the College, all applicants are
encouraged to explore the availability of financial aid funding
through state and federal agencies. Financial aid information
and application assistance is provided by the College's
Financial Aid Office to help students and their families
clearly understand their financial situations.
Accreditation
Bauder College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of
the Southern Association of colleges and Schools (SACS) to
award certificates and Associate of Arts degrees.

The business administration curriculum, with programs that
emphasize either marketing or management, is a terminal program
that can prepare you to succeed in global business. Today's
employers expect prospective employees to have a well-rounded
education, including computer technology and practical business
experience. The business administration curriculum at Bauder
College could provide this and more.
Computer technology is an integral part of the business
administration department. Each term, you will take more advanced
classes than the previous term. Classes in accounting,
management, economics, advertising and marketing round out the
curriculum. As a senior in the marketing curriculum, you will
take Marketing Simulation, a class that simulates the
responsibilities and pressures of the marketing professional. In
the management curriculum, you will take Small Business
Management, an advanced course in which you create a small
business plan.

Although many aspects set the business administration curriculum
apart, one of the most important is the externship program. With
this program, you are required to secure and complete an
externship with a company that can provide an in-depth experience
within your chosen curriculum. This experience, along with the
other practical coursework, could give you a competitive edge in
today's business careers.

visually present and produce your ideas. At Bauder College, you
could learn those vital skills and gain hands-on experience
through our career-focused fashion design program. The curriculum
is built around developing your design, illustration and
presentation abilities. Other coursework includes pattern-making,
clothing construction, draping, specialty design and storyboard
creation.
To provide you with even more of a competitive edge, we offer
computer graphics courses as part of the curriculum. Through
computer aided design (CAD), you can learn how to use the
computer to create fashion illustrations, textile designs, "flat"
and "spec" drawings, graphic layouts and patterns.

original collections at Bauder College's Annual Fashion Design
