The curriculum will provide a comprehensive examination of investment and portfolio management, international finance, bank management and risk management. Expand your professional knowledge and enhance your financial analysis skills, strategic perspective skills and advanced decision-making capabilities.

Organizational Leadership

Lead change within an organization. Study organizational systems, leadership and motivation theory and research. Develop an in-depth understanding of individual and group behavior. Develop best practices in process consultation, talent management and motivation. Enhance your ability to implement organizational learning and transformation.

Project Management

This specialization is designed to sharpen your project management skills in three areas: project planning, risk management and project procurement. The program will develop your ability to communicate and interact effectively among managers in order to accomplish business goals. Master the skills involved in planning, managing and controlling resources, all of which are critical to the successful and timely completion of projects that remain within their allotted budget. Strengthen and expand your expertise and business vision while building the perspective you need to excel in a variety of functional areas and industries including business consulting and IT project management.

Online Master of Science in Business Continuity Management

The Norwich University Master of Science in Business Continuity Management Program was designed to develop leaders in the business continuity field. The curriculum was built on the understanding that business continuity is not only about planning for disaster; it requires the incorporation of risk management into all levels of an organization and the creation of a structure of resiliency that allows the organization to survive and thrive through any event. Through the creation and development of individual consultancy project, you will master the policies, procedures and structure of an organization-wide business continuity program, gaining expertise in both theory and practice. Customize your degree with a concentration in Private Sector Continuity or Continuity of Governmental Operations.

Continuity of Government Operations

Students in the Continuity of Governmental Operations Concentration will learn how to implement a Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) at a governmental agency to ensure its continued functioning during a disaster. The concentration is appropriate for professionals with COOP duties at all levels of government--federal, state, and local. The concentration also prepares students for the FEMA Professional Continuity Practitioners and Master Continuity Practitioner certifications.

Private Sector Continuity

In the private sector continuity track, focus is placed on business continuity foundations and principles of Incident Management and Emergency Response. This first half of the semester emphasizes the steps needed to develop a business continuity plan and a risk management program while the second half examines how to develop a plan for responding to a business disruption.

Online Master of Science in Information Assurance

Norwich University's Master of Science in Information Assurance program allows information security professionals to integrate their technical competencies with business management skills. A comprehensive core curriculum and an individual case study project equip graduates with the skills to manage and lead an organization-wide information security program. Our unique seminar system presents highly integrated material at a functional area, rather than in separate, concurrent course segments. In addition to the core curriculum you will also be able to delve further into specific subject areas through concentration courses. Since 2002, Norwich University has been designated by the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education.

Online Master of Science in Organizational Leadership

Most organizations are over-managed and under-led. The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program is built to meet these challenges head-on. The MSOL program is a practical and pertinent program designed for aspiring or existing leaders in any profession. The curriculum explores conceptual and theoretical models of leadership within organizations, emotional intelligence leading change, change management, strategic communication, organizational behavior and human capital management. A concentration in Global Leadership will provide you with the specific knowledge to better lead your followers and achieve those organizational objectives in a global business world. You will develop the understanding and competencies needed to lead in global organizations. You will grasp the cultural, communication, and behavioral differentiators that exist within the whole of the multinational organization that will enhance your leadership presence.

Online Master of Public Administration

Norwich University's Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree is designed to provide a foundation of knowledge in the principles and concepts of public administration. You will acquire the skills and techniques required to implement policies, projects and programs while refining your skills in integration, research, writing, and critical analysis. Our curriculum will provide you with a comprehensive study in organizational management concepts, best practices, decision-making processes, strategic planning, legal issues, budgeting, and fiscal management. Specialize in your area of interest by customizing your degree in one of six concentrations: Organizational Leadership, Public Works Administration, Continuity of Governmental Operations, Criminal Justice, Public Organization Fiscal Management or Leadership. Gain the education, training and skills required to be an effective leader and public manager.

Continuity of Governmental Operations

This concentration teaches all of the elements needed to develop a continuity of operations plan for a governmental agency and how to respond to incidents that effect governmental agencies. The topics include organizational analysis, risk and threat analysis, mitigation and control strategy development and implementation, and implementing the organizational structure needed to sustain a continuity program over time.

Criminal Justice Administration

This concentration will provide you with an in-depth study of personnel management, budgeting, law enforcement best practices, police leadership, workforce development, accountability, internal affairs, productivity, and managing special units. You will also study the role of community policy, community policing, restorative justice programs, crime prevention, budgeting and public finance. The role of technology and integrated justice systems will be examined as well as information system security, crisis management and policy development.

Leadership

This concentration focuses on differentiating the conceptual and theoretical aspects and models of leadership and leadership studies in order for you to apply leadership skills and principles to your place of work. You will also learn the new way of evaluating intelligence in individuals and take away new skills in developing intuitive reasoning to enhance professional interpersonal relationships with peers and customers. Experiential learning is a large component of this seminar, so you will practice your skills at work and relay your experiences through a Leadership Development Portfolio (LDP).

Organizational Leadership

This concentration requires you to identify a personal leadership style, tendencies and preferences as a professional, and how one assimilates and applies information. You will also learn how to recognize the key components of the knowledge based economy living and breathing in the people of your organization. Experiential learning is a large component of this seminar, so you will practice your skills at work and relay your experiences through a Leadership Development Portfolio (LDP).

Public Organization Fiscal Management

This concentration will provide you with an in-depth study of the following topics all within the context of public organization fiscal management; legal and regulatory foundation for financial management; accounting and budgeting, internal controls, internal and external reporting; integrated financial management information systems; and auditing, evaluation and risk management. The course work will prepare you for the Association of Government Accounts' Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) examination.

Public Works Administration

This concentration will provide you with an in-depth study of the following topics: human resources, budgeting and fiscal management, emergency management, legal, political, and technological issues, communications with stakeholders, public works planning and project management, contract administration, multi-year financing of public works projects, environmental impact and cost-benefit analyses, decision-making modeling, multi-jurisdictional services, public-private joint ventures and sustainability.
