Miller-Motte Technical College

The mission of Miller-Motte Technical College is to help students acquire the essential career and personal skills and knowledge necessary to secure initial employment in their chosen field.

The following purposes are integral to the mission of the College:

Associate of Applied Science - Human Resource Management

The Human Resource Management program provides training for the person seeking an entry-level career in human resource management in for-profit, not-for-profit and government sectors. The program includes a broad mix of course work that allows the student to aquire a blend of basic business skills and the core elements of human resource management theory and application. Human Resource Management training may be applied to many business fields. Entry-level positions may be as HR generalist representatives, human resource management trainees, and compensation specialist in business, industry, and governmental agencies.

Associate of Applied Science - Management

The Management program provides the basic business skills necessary to enter a broad range of business enterprise or entrepreneurial pursuits. Topics covered include marketing, business law, supervision, finance and human resource management. Graduates may apply their training to career opportunities including management trainee, service or sales representative, human resources assistant, or in an area of self-employment in a small business enterprise.
