Wright Career College, a private not-for-profit career training center, can help you prepare for an exciting career in business. Most of our training programs can be completed in less than a year. We offer flexible schedules, with day and evening classes, so you can work and go to school at the same time. And financial aid is available for students who qualify.

We offer hands-on career training in the following areas:

Diploma Programs

Accounting

This program is designed to teach students basic accounting principles, as well as computer, keyboarding and record-keeping skills.

Information Management

This program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as information managers. Emphasis is placed on software applications, Microsoft Office and PageMaker, as well as fundamental math and English skills.

Professional Administrative Assistant

This program is designed to help students learn the skills they need to perform various office functions in today's business environment.

Associate's Programs

Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management

The program's primary objective is to provide students with the skills, knowledge and tools necessary to start a new business or to be a more effective, entrepreneurial-thinking, employee for a business in today's dynamic, global society. When the student completes the program, the student will have a marketing plan and a business plan for a proposed new business. An understanding of e-commerce and the creation web page are also significant outcomes for the program. In addition general education classes increase the students' higher learning knowledge base as well as these classes' applied skills is integrated into other course work to meet the requirements for an Associate in Applied Science degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.
