Golden Gate University (GGU), founded in 1901 in San Francisco, has always been a place where working adults come for a career-focused higher education. The Ageno School of Business prepares students for managerial and professional careers in business. Our full-time and adjunct professors have relevant experience in the fields in which they teach, and each of them brings on-the-job insight directly into class debate and discussion. Outside of class, professors work as CEOs, directors, vice presidents, entrepreneurs, consultants, partners and managers at companies of all sizes. The School of Business embraces opportunities for international diversity in its students, faculty and programs.The School of Business has created programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels that:

  • Blend theory and practical application utilizing case studies, industry site visits and lab-based courses to help individuals build skills that transfer from the classroom to the workplace.

The BBA is the undergraduate equivalent of the MBA. An essential element of the degree is an eleven-course core curriculum on the theory and practice of business. While studying the core subjects, you'll also explore a wide spectrum of business-related issues including how to run a business, how to understand the changing definition of profit in today’s global marketplace and an in-depth examination of the causes of business success and failure. The Saturday MBA Program

The same classes in the traditional MBA program are now offered on Saturday at our Bay Area regional locations. Most students will take one class in the morning and one class in the afternoon during a given term. There are five 10-week terms per academic year.
