NAU's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree
program is a general program that offers a variety of
business-related subjects, without specializing in any one area.
For students who choose to focus on a particular area of business
as an area of emphasis, the following emphasis areas are
available:
Accounting
In today's business world, managers often need skills in
financial management. National American University's Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in
Accounting degree program provides students with strong
backgrounds in financial accounting and budgeting, as well as
preparing them for careers in management. This program gives
students excellent preparation for various management positions
which also have responsibilities in budgeting and financial
management.
Financial Management
This is an excellent degree for students interested in the
field of finance. Graduates can expect to be well qualified for
careers in banking, lending institutions, financial planning in

addition to strong business skills. Graduates of this program
can expect to find careers in wide range of management and
human resource positions.
Information Systems
This degree is intended for business majors who recognize the
importance and growth of the use of digital information in
today's business world. As with all business administration
degrees, a wide range of job opportunities is available, but
graduates of this degree will have an advantage in the ability
to use information technology to get the job done.
International Business
More and more business is being conducted on an international
level. This degree gives students the opportunity to focus on
how business conducted on a global scale is different from
domestic enterprise. The types of careers available are similar

this degree program will have a distinct advantage in working
for any firm that does business globally.
