The Cal Lutheran MBA program is stimulating, rigorous and
ethically insightful. Professionals and managers in business,
education, government, and religious and service organizations
obtain skills for innovative and responsible leadership.
MBA students may work toward an MBA in a general track or they
may choose to earn an MBA with a specialization in one of the
following areas:
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- International Business
- IT Management
- Management and Organizational Behavior
- Marketing
Leaders in today's global marketplace require skills to meet the
demands of increased competition, rapidly evolving technology and
workplace diversity. The Cal Lutheran MBA program prepares
students to be innovative and responsible leaders who can:

Post-MBA Certificates

CLU's Post-MBA Certificate Series enables those with MBAs to
further distinguish themselves in the work force and advance
their career opportunities by continuing to broaden their
knowledge base. Individuals who have already earned their MBA,
MPPA or a similar advanced degree can earn a certificate in one
of CLU's MBA professional tracks by completing a set of four
targeted courses.
Professional tracks include:
- Finance
- IT Management
- Management & Organizational Behavior
- Marketing
With departmental consent, candidates may design
interdisciplinary programs to meet their individual needs. The
Post-MBA program is tailored to the working professional and a
certificate of mastery can be completed in 1 year by attending
class 1 evening per week.
The Post-MBA Certificate series program:
- Is offered exclusively to individuals who already hold an MBA
or similar graduate-level degrees.
- Can be completed in 1 year by going to class 1 night per
week, or by taking 2 years to complete the 4 courses. Courses are
offered year-round (4, 11-week terms per year) giving certificate
candidates flexibility to balance the demands of career and
personal commitments with the pace of the program.
- Is tailored to the working professional. Classes are held in
the evening and, in some cases, on Saturdays.
- Candidates have the option of designing an interdisciplinary
program to meet their individual needs, e.g. international
business or small business/entrepreneurship.
- Allows professionals to continue graduate-level study at a
significantly discounted rate: 40% less than the regular MBA
tuition.

The Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPAA) program is
designed to meet the educational needs of management
professionals in the public and non-profit sectors. Its faculty,
with a service orientation, is dedicated to the education of the
whole person. The student body is excellent and diversified,
being composed primarily of individuals who are working in
various private, public or non-profit organizations.
The basic purpose of the graduate program in public policy and
administration is to provide both a broad-based education for
individuals who wish to pursue careers in administration or
policy making in a variety of public service positions. Program
emphasis is on state and local policy issues.
Nationwide, public policy and administration graduates have
secured such posts as:
- Public affairs officers in private organizations
- Financial administrators
- Museum directors
- Federal law enforcement officers
- Federal administrators

Bachelor's - Accounting
The accounting curriculum provides a careful balance of
accounting practice and theory. Accountants perform a myriad of tasks including the following:
- Compiling detailed records of business transactions
- Preparing financial statements
- Performing audits
- Preparing tax reports
- Conducting tax planning and cost and managerial decision
making
- Analyzing financial information
- Providing small-business consulting services
Because the accountant of today and tomorrow has to be able to fit comfortably into any business setting,
ADEP accounting majors also receive solid preparation in general
business.
CLU prepares accounting majors to enter a variety of careers in
public accounting, private industry, government and education
where graduates have found employment as auditors, tax
specialists, financial analysts, investment bankers, loan
officers and consultants. CLU accounting alumni have been very
successful in passing the CPA exam and obtaining positions with
the largest and most prestigious international accounting firms.
Bachelor's - Business Management
The CLU School of Business provides a learning environment in
which students can realize their full potential for professional
preparation and personal growth.
A Bachelor of Science in Business Management combines a solid
background in the liberal arts and sciences with an in-depth
study of business-related disciplines. All business management
students complete a core managerial program comprised of courses
in the following:
- Accounting
- Business law
- Finance
- Organizational behavior
- Computer information systems
- Marketing
- Strategic management
A degree in business management allows a graduate to enter a
variety of business careers. Some career options include business
ownership, banking, management, marketing, international trade
and consulting.
The CLU School of Business is a member of the American Assembly

Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Bachelor's - Organizational Leadership
The Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership is about
preparing you for the important task of leading individuals, now
