The Associate of Applied Business in Health Information Management (HIM) at Fortis College provides students with the theory and practice specific to the field of HIM. The program consists of courses, labs and clinical experiences that cover basic HIM concepts, as well as the basic and general education courses needed for students to earn and associate degree. Teaching methods for the course may include lecture, discussion, student presentation, simulation, audiovisuals and computer programs.
