Business Career Programs at IBMC

A wide selection of training opportunities for the business world is available to prospective students, including administrative, data entry, office management, paralegal and positions. All of IBMC's business programs include extensive hands-on computer training, accounting, and practical application of business concepts. Critical thinking, professionalism and decision-making are integral parts of the curriculum. All programs include an Externship where students gain experience in the job setting. Externship provides an opportunity to practice the skills learned under direct supervision in an actual work environment.

Certificate in Administrative Assistant

The objective of this program is to provide graduates with a solid foundation of administrative assisting basics and an understanding of general office processes and procedures. You will obtain a broad background in communications, computer skills and interpersonal skills.

Graduates will have the opportunity to become certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist in two of the four following disciplines: Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access Database. An IBMC Certificate in Administrative Assisting will qualify you for multiple entry-level positions in secretarial, reception, clerical, customer service/support and similar administrative positions.
