Master of Business Administration in Chartered Financial Analyst® track

Financial statements and disclosures are increasingly difficult to decipher, and individuals once content with mutual funds are looking to hedge funds for additional diversification benefits and potentially higher returns. As institutions, corporations, and individual investors attempt to navigate these increasingly complex financial waters, the chartered financial analyst (CFA®) has become a critical player.

Quinnipiac's MBA-CFA® track helps position you to take your place in the competitive world of finance. The CFA® designation is an internationally recognized professional accreditation that attests to the charterholder's success in a rigorous and comprehensive program of study in investment management and research analysis. In order to earn their CFA®, candidates must pass exams administered by the CFA Institute and meet all CFA Institute eligibility requirements. Currently, over 60,000 financial professionals from over 115 different countries hold the designation. Many investment related jobs now require the CFA® and the emphasis on the designation is growing.

Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management

Building on Quinnipiac's 20 years of experience in training successful health care administrators working in all areas of the industry, the Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management program (MBA/HCM) includes critically important business courses combined with courses providing a thorough grounding in health care administration. The program prepares students to function effectively in any area within health care including, as examples, insurance companies, government agencies, hospitals, physician practices, health centers, diagnostic facilities, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. It focuses on developing important professional skills required of entry level and mid-career administrators.

MBA-SCM is a specialized track within the MBA program. Supply chain management is an approach to coordinating the functions, processes and enterprises associated with the order-fulfillment cycle. A supply chain typically extends across multiple tiers, including manufacturers and their suppliers, transportation carriers, warehouses, retailers and the customers themselves. SCM focuses on the integration across functions within a firm as well as across enterprise lines.

MBA-SCM track has the same number of credits as the MBA program. The first 34 credits of the track are the MBA core. Students then take specialized concentration courses to complete the 46 credits required for the MBA.
