Business Administration - Associate'sThis degree program prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable them to become ethical decision makers capable of working for leading organizations in entry-level jobs. Some career opportunities that students will be prepared for include business managers and office administrators.
Business Administration
Upon completion, graduates in the Associate's degree program will possess basic business skills including knowledge of principles of finance, principles of management, fundamentals of accounting, the legal environment of business, computer applications, and basic information technology principles. This program provides students with both broad business administration skills as well as specific knowledge that will guide them as they make career choices. While it is probably self-evident that there are many professional directions in which a business administration graduate may go, what may be less obvious is the fact that not all careers in the business world are office-based careers you might expect. A degree in business administration will benefit you even if you do not plan on working in the business world. Professional Sales & Customer Service - Diploma or Associate'sThe Associate of Science Professional Sales & Customer Service builds upon the Diploma program in exploring broader and more sophisticated sales and servicing principles and techniques including integrated branding, critical thinking, and legal and ethical considerations for selling in particular and business in general. The student will also begin to use and understand computer applications including spreadsheets and basic accounting, so vital to the sales process. At this level, personal professional development is also approached on an intra-relationship basis. The program concludes with our "Capstone" project, requiring students to apply concepts, techniques, and skills learned in their program of study by completing a comprehensive simulated project.
Professional Sales and Customer Service
The coursework teaches students to apply practical sales techniques in a range of situations, to act as intermediaries between customers and suppliers, and comprehend the complex interrelationships between the salesperson and the other components of business. Graduates of the Professional Sales & Customer Services programs are qualified for entry-level sales and customer service positions for small to medium-sized manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers.
