Financial Management

Do you want to be a business leader? The Financial Management program at CDI College is designed to respond to the financial needs of the ever-changing marketplace.

The Financial Management program will help you develop a solid understanding of practical accounting and management skills sought by today's employers. You will study economics, marketing and accounting. You will learn to work with databases and spreadsheets as well as accounting software. You will also learn about Information Technology and personal finance planning. As a graduate of this program, you will have met the requirements for the Payroll Supervisor certification of the Payroll Management Certificate Program through the Canadian Payroll Association.

As a Financial Management graduate, you will be eligible for positions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeper and payroll manager in accounting firms or departments in large companies.

Property and Casualty Insurance

When customers purchase property and casualty insurance on homes, cars, and businesses to protect themselves, their families and our property in the case of damage or loss, they appreciate dealing with sincere and knowledgeable insurance agents. The Property and Casualty Insurance program at CDI College will train you to meet the challenges of a career in the insurance industry with confidence.

The Property and Casualty Insurance program will provide you with an in-depth understanding of insurance for individuals, automobiles and property. You will learn about the legal aspects of damage insurance and processing claims as well. In addition, you will develop exceptional customer service skills and receive hands-on training on the software and computer technology used in the insurance industry. The program prepares you to write the 3 exams of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in damage insurance for individuals: Automobile, Household and Legislation.
