Associate of Science in Accounting

The Associate of Science in Accounting is designed to provide students with the theoretical accounting knowledge necessary to work in a business utilizing personal computers, spreadsheets and computerized accounting systems.

The program prepares students for career opportunities in a variety of positions such as:

  • Accounting assistants
  • Bookkeepers
  • Junior accountants
  • Management trainees

In addition, students will learn business law, financial management and business communications. In order to stay current in this field, computer applications and word processing classes are offered with emphasis placed on computerized accounting applications in the business office.
